Lower Boeckman Creek Restoration
Client: City of Wilsonville
Scope:
The City of Wilsonville wanted to remove two culverts in Boeckman Creek in Memorial Park to enhance the creek and allow for passage of threatened salmonids, including Chinook salmon. The culverts were replaced with pedestrian bridges spanning the creek, and streambed and native plant communities were restored. The Lower Boeckman Creek Restoration project won the 2006 Stream Enhancement Award of the Year from the State of Oregon.
